Govt inaugurates Urban CHPS compound in Accra

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has inaugurated an Urban CHPS compound at the heart of Tema Station.

It was constructed at the cost of fifty thousand cedis and is to encourage businessmen and women, drivers and head porters in that enclave to access medical care to reduce complications and prevent avoidable deaths.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Director General of GHS, Dr Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira said fifteen of the urban CHPS compounds will be built across Greater Accra Region.
