Government releases feeding grants to second cycle institutions

Government is said to have released some money to Senior High Schools to cover their feeding cost.

The amount is GH¢44 million out of which more than GH¢35 million is to be disbursed to schools in the three regions of the north as part payment of the debts owed them by government.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com

This comes at a time when hundreds of students especially in the three regions of the north, are reported to have been sent home due to government’s inability to pay the grants for the three terms.
