Government refutes UTAG’S claims of recruitment ban of lecturers

The Deputy Minister In-charge of Tertiary Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has refuted claims by the University Teachers Association of Ghana ,UTAG, that government has placed a ban on the employment of new lectures.

According to him, financial clearance has been approved for the recruitment of more than one thousand teaching and non-teaching staff.
