Government dispels freeze on public sector employment allegations

The President John Mahama has dispelled allegations that there is a freeze on public sector employment especially in the education and technical sectors.

Speaking at the inauguration of new Longoro Community Senior High School in Kintampo North in Brong Ahafo, President Mahama mentioned that about 2,400 teachers have been recruited and are being deployed to their stations.

President Mahama announced that 60 of all the community Day Senior High schools being built by government will be equipped to serve as technical and vocational training centres.

He added that one school in every region will become an excellent sports training centre to nurture talents in the field of sports.
