Government cannot be blamed for shortfall in budget – Finance Minister

Minister of Finance, Seth Terkpe,r has re-emphasised that government is not setting unrealistic targets as is being asserted.

He said shortfalls in the budget cannot be solely blamed on the projections made by government but market and global conditions also have a role to play.

He made this remark when he interacted with members of the Institute of Financial and Economic Journalists and the Parliamentary Press Corps in Accra.

Mr. Terkper said government is committed to implementing policies that will propel growth in the economy.
