Government Has Built 173 New Senior High Schools – Prez Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has said the NDC government has achieved 173 Senior High Schools across Ghana.

According to him, government plans to have universities in every region, 4 new modern hospitals under construction, numerous polyclinics, distribution of solar lamps to rural communities.

He said the massive gas infrastructure at Atuabo, is projected to save the country an estimated $500 million annually in fuel purchases for power plants, huge increases in water delivery to Ghanaians across the country.

Outlining progress made by the NDC government on his Facebook wall, President Mahama said these are only some of achievements made during the last three years.

“No matter what some may say, these achievements are real, and they provide sustainable progress in everybody’s lives.”

Adding that, “When we empower people by offering them access to water, access to schools, hospitals and polyclinics, people see these things; they see how their lives have changed.”

“I spent the last weekend in Ho, with my officials. I challenged them to work harder only to build, but also to communicate with people about their work. There have been tremendous progress, and many more good things to come, so every Ghanaian should know about them, and feel proud about them.”

“My brothers and sisters, May God bless all of you! May God bless our Homeland Ghana!” he concluded.
