Gospel musician ‘fingered’ in JB Danquah’s murder
Two informants who had the opportunity to speak on Montie fm, tried to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of the late Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu,(MP) for Abuakwa North, by making lot of interesting revelations about the circumstances that led to the arrest of Daniel Asiedu the alleged killer with gospel musician cum policeman Kofi Sarpong’s name popping up as a witness to one of the instance.
Speaking to Mugabe on Montie fm which was transcribed by ghanaPoliticsOnline.Com, they said all the news in the media about how Daniel Aseidu was arrested are false but rather they were the ones who arrested Daniel Asiedu and took him to the recently transferred Greater Accra regional Police Commander COP George Akufo Dampare
According to the informants who were asked not to mention their names but later ended up giving their names as Nii and Mawuco, they were promised Ghc20,000 to apprehend Daniel Asiedu so after they arrested Daniel, they took him to COP George Akufo Dampare and received Ghc20,000 each.
“At the police station, we handed over Daniel to the police who then took him to one office in which DSP Kofi Sarpong together with COP George Dampare was present” they revealed.
The duo added that, their main objective is to see to it that all the bad nuts are apprehended so they work hand in hand with the police, but on this particular JB’s murder saga, they suspect foul play which they want to unravel.
Host of the program Mugabe who promised to continue the interview on Thursday due to time confirmed that he didn’t just allow the two into the studio but rather video evidence he received prior to the interview compelled him to grant the interview.
