Global FM/One Ghana radio workshop ends in Ho

Global FM in conjunction with One Ghana Media have successfully completed the first in the series of scheduled media workshops in the Volta regional capital Ho.

The two-day workshop was navigated by broadcaster Yaw Ampofo Ankrah who took participants through the basic rules, ethics and practices of professional radio broadcasting.

Certificates were handed out to participants who went through Q&A, brainstorming and practical application sessions at the Global FM complex in Ho. Renowned educationists Emmanuel Keteku who delivered a presentation on creating a meaningful impact through radio broadcasting opened the seminar on day one with his insightful presentation.

The head of Information Technology from the Ho polytechnic Makafui Nyamdi presented a feature video on the power of positive communication.

Participants where also asked to project what the radio media landscape would look like in the 12 months to 5 years.

A Consultant Director of Global FM, Mr. Egypt Kudoto, implored the participants to adopt a policy and mindset of ownership in order to deliver their very best at all times.

The CEO of One Ghana Media Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, who is marking his 20th year (1996-2016) in media and radio broadcasting, has confirmed a nationwide tour of radio stations with the aim of promoting professional radio broadcasting in the country. Source: Global 105.1 FM www.globalfmonline.com
