Ghanaian comedian Bob Okala laid to rest

Remains of Veteran Ghanaian Comedian Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, popularly known as Bob Okala was today interred at his hometown in Ashanti.

The funeral rite was held at the Arts Center in Accra.

The 59 year old Veteran Comedian died on Sunday, March 12 after collapsing on stage during a performance at the Jackson Park in Koforidua.

In a tribute, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare eulogised the late comedian.

She recounted the days when Bob Okala started his professional life as a comedian adding that Ghanaians will forever remember him.
