As part of making sure that there will be peace before, during and after the election, Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, is presently touring Brong-Ahafo and its environs – spreading the message of peace to the populace, especially, the youth.
John, who is also an entrepreneur and has strong passion for the agriculture sector, whilst preaching peace, disclosed his intentions of venturing into cocoa farming.
He told the people of Asunafo North Municipality that he’s fully ready to venture into cocoa production – a passion he entreated the youth to develop.
He also met a horde of enthusiastic youth in Ahafoman Secondary Technical School and Sarah hotel – there too, he told the youth that Ghana is the second largest producer of cocoa in the world and that Asunafo North contributes 40-45 percentage of it.
So therefore, there’s a need for the people of Asunafo North to take cocoa production serious.
He hinted that government of Ghana ,John Mahama has provided free seedlings, free fertilizers, and free services of agriculture officers – aimed at motivating the youth to invest in agriculture.
In a seperate chat with GhanaPoliticsaonline.Co, he said that plans are far underway for him to start his cocoa production at Asunafo North and Goaso, and will need all the youth on board – a call that received positive huge uproar from the youth.
