Ghana and Trinidad and Tobago have signed two agreements in the areas of General cooperation and Oil and Gas.
The first agreement was signed by the two countries and the second by the GNPC and the National Oil Company of Trinidad and Tobago at a ceremony at Flagstaff house.Ghanapoliticsonline.com
Ghana is seeking to establish further relations with Trinidad in the areas of Petrochemical of which that country has more than a hundred years experience.

President Mahama, said with the country’s nascent oil sector it is prudent that it takes experiences from oil rich countries like Trinidad and Tobago to guide the resource.
The last time a Prime Minister from Trinidad visited Ghana was in 1960.
Prime Minister Rowley is being hosted to a luncheon after which he will tour the Tema Oil Refinery and VALCO in the company of President Mahama.
