The flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr Edward Mahama, has said election irregularities contributed to him recording less than 1 percent of votes in the December 7 elections.
According to him, even at the polling station where his pastor voted, he failed to record a single vote.

Speaking on Accra-based Joy FM, Dr Mahama said he suspects that many of his votes might have been added to the spoilt ballots.
“I on my part, where my pastor voted, I got zero in this election. I’m sure those so-called spoilt ballots, a lot of them will have my votes there,” he said.
He believed that his initial disqualification from the presidential race by the Electoral Commission (EC) affected his campaign.
“It took six weeks from my campaign and made it impossible for me to raise money,” he added.
