The Future of the Ghanaian Media Under Mr Akufo-Addo

President Mahama’s reference to Montie 3 remission being in the *’interest of the nation’* is about protecting media freedoms, ensuring appropriate punishment when they make mistakes but not instilling fear in the practitioners of the concept of the ‘spoken word’.

Akufo-Addo has proven both in deeds and in words, to be a threat to media freedom and it’s independent operations.

The attacks and death threats on Adakabre Frimpong-Manso by Akufo-Addo as same was confirmed by Adakabre’s father is evident of the fact that the demagogue Akufo-Addo is a threat to media freedom.

The attacks and threats on Kwame Tikesie by Akufo-Addo and his attack Dogs such as Karbo, Akomea and Co is evident that the toxic kyebi demagogue Akufo-Addo is a threat to media freedom

Former Ghana Journalist Association President Kabral Blay wrote in his book on how the irritating and intolerant demagogue Akufo-Addo attacked and accosted him for using his (Kabral) own newspaper to support the campaign of President Kufour in the run up to the Sunyani Congress in 1998.

Akufo-Addo’s unprovoked verbal attack on Kojo Oppong Nkrumah at the 2012 IEA debate lends credence to the fact that, Akufo-Addo is dangerously and inherently an intolerant person.

Akufo-Addo’s attack on Bobie Ansah for criticizing his poisonous *”all die be die”* lends credence to the fact that , the demagogue Akufo-Addo is simply not an option for Ghana.

Ghana is blessed with peaceful coexistence among beautiful and different tribes,ethnic groups, culture, religious groups, etc

*”When you are given the opportunity to chose a leader, chose someone who you can criticize”*
