Funding secured for phase 2 of Bolga Regional Hospital- President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has announced that funding has been secured for the continuation of the second phase of expansion work on the Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga.

Inspecting the on-going expansion work of the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital which is almost 95 percent complete, president Mahama commended the contractors for the impressive pace of work.

The project is being funded by the Saudi Fund for Development, while Berock Ventures Limited is undertaking the actual construction.

When completed, there will be dental, imaging, pharmacy, accident and emergency, intensive care, ENT, eye, mental health, public health and herbal medicine units, as well as various wards.

It will also have a mortuary and laundry, laboratory and blood bank units.

The president was accompanied by the National Organizer of the NDC, Kofi Adams and the Campaign Co-ordinator of the party, Joyce Bawa Mogtari who doubles as the Deputy Minister of transport.

Also present was the Minister of Communications, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah among other party stalwarts.
