Former NDC MMDCEs declare support for John Mahama

The former Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives who served during the erstwhile National Democratic Congress administration have declared their support towards the second term bid of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.

A statement released by the spokesperson for the former MMDCEs, former MCE of Suhum, Madam Margaret Ansei popularly known as Magoo on Tuesday 11th December, 2018 said they believe His Excellency John Dramani Mahama is the only one who can lead the National Democratic Congress to victory and relieve Ghanaians from the
economic hardship being experienced under the leadership of Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party.

FORMER MMDCEs ENDORSE PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA (JDM)

We the former Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) of the NDC
do hereby commend and thank His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for
accepting our pleas and cries to contest the NDC Presidential primaries.

It can be recalled
that early this year, after our maiden Ex-MMDCEs conference themed “reorganising the
NDC for victory 2020; the role of Ex-MMDCEs” we called on His Excellency President John
Dramani Mahama to make his intention to contest for the presidential primaries known to
us. As a listening leader, His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama announced his
intention to contest for the Presidential primaries shortly after we had prevailed on him.

It is our belief that His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama will emerge as the flag￾bearer of the NDC for the 2020 Presidential elections.

We trust His Excellency President
John Dramani Mahama will lead the NDC to victory in 2020 in order to relieve the good
people of Ghana from the immense pain and hardship afflicting them courtesy the inept
and clueless Nana Akuffo-Addo led government. Ghanaians can no longer cope with the
suffering the country has been plunged into.
