FIVE MORE COMMUNITY DAY SHSs READY IN THE CENTRAL REGION

Five more Community Day Senior High Schools have been completed and ready for commissioning in the Central Region. This was disclosed by the deputy Minister for Education Hon. Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa at the launch of the National Democratic Congress’ 2016 elections campaign in Cape Coast.

In a speech to members of the party which catalogued some achievements of President Mahama’s government in the education sector, the minister emphasised that Ghana is making noticeable progress in all the important indicators of performance. To that end, he stated that credit must be given to the vision and leadership of President Mahama.

The Communications Director of the opposition New Patriotic Party has recently hailed the President for his commitment to building the community day senior high schools. Others have also criticised the President for the slow pace of work. The announcement of five newly completed ones by the deputy minister indicates government’s keenness to show progress of work on these projects.
