First lady advocates for more support in healthcare sector

The First Lady, Lordina Mahama has called on stakeholders to advocate and work, to ensure that investments made in the health of the people, particularly the younger ones are sustained.

She said her foundation will continue to partner government and the global community to achieve the objective of health for all.

Mrs. Mahama gave the assurance at Kukuom and Sankore, both in the Brong Ahafo region when she presented quantities of medical supplies and equipment, as well as gas cookers to the Health Centre, laptops to Senior High Schools and sewing machines to Dressmakers.

She said the goal of the Foundation is to help save lives through these donations.

The First lady said the global commitment to UNAIDS’ 90-90-90 Fast-Track targets, calls for the end of AIDS by 2030.
