The Finance Minister Seth Terkper, says the revised ratings of the International Credit Rating Agency Moody’s from negative B3 to B3 Stable is good for the economy.
Moody’s in 2015 rated Ghana Negative B3, an indication of poor economic performance.
The latest ratings revealed that the reduction in fiscal deficit and the implementation of structural reforms have led to the current rating.
Mr Terkper, says this is an indication that the government’s Home Grown Policies have bright prospects for 2017.
