Fadi Daboussi Was Arrested For False Publication

The Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) has released the New Patriotic Party Sympathiser who was arrested on last Friday

Officials of the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) last Friday picked Fadi Dabousi, a Lebanese-Ghanaian for questioning for allegedly publishing false and defamatory stories about President John Dramani Mahama on the internet.

GhanaPoliticsonline.com Sources close to the BNI informs that Dabousi, described as a journalist has been asked to substantiate allegations of impropriety he has levelled against the President. Mr. Dabousi said to have close ties with the opposition NPP is reported to have offered no defence during interrogation.

Bail- Questioned on the possibility of bail, the source said that “BNI are concluding their preliminary investigations and has been granted bail. The source added that Mr. Dabousi, the Lebanese- Ghanaian is cooperating in the investigation.
