Ethiopian PM Says African Countries Can Realize True Freedom Through Collaboration For Economic Growth

Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn has expressed optimism that his three -day State Visit to Ghana will improve economic relations and reactivate all outstanding agreements between the two countries.

He said African leaders can only realize true freedom for their citizens if they collaborate in building the economies of their countries.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com

The Prime Minister was responding to a toast at a State dinner last night in his honour.

He is accompanied by his wife Roman Tesfaye.

President Mahama said Ghana is open to any partnership that will be mutually beneficial, adding that Ethiopia has come a long way in its development drive.

This is the second time a sitting Ethiopian leader is visiting Ghana.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com

The first was in 1960. The visiting Prime Minister as part of his visit will tour a cocoa processing company in Tema and visit Akosombo.

He is also expected to lay a wreath at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and later address a joint press conference with President Mahama.
