Education Ministry bans sale of lesson notes and handouts in tertiary institutions

The Minister of Education Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has banned the sale of lesson notes and handouts to students in tertiary institutions.

The practice, the Minister noted is being perpetuated by Lecturers to make money.

She has therefore directed that henceforth such lesson notes and handouts be compiled into books and placed at the bookshops of the tertiary institutions for sale.

This was contained in a speech read on her behalf, by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Alexander John Ackon, at the 11th Congregation of Kumasi Polytechnic in Kumasi.
