ECG explains power cut during rains

The Accra West PRO of the ECG, Eric Asante, has been explaining to us reasons why power goes off when it rains.

He said the move is intended to safeguard some weak networks that can be compromised during thunderstorms or severe rains.

Mr. Asante noted that putting the power off is also to ensure the safety of their equipment and home appliances off.
