EC not certain on election date

Commission in Charge of Corporate Services.
The Electoral Commission says it has done its part in the formulation of the Instrument that will legalize the Conduct of the 2016 elections in November.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of the EC in Charge of Corporate Services Georgina Opoku Amankwa the remaining work on the Bill to be forwarded to Parliament for passage will be done by the Attorney General, Cabinet and Council of State.

Speaking in Parliament when the Commission appeared before the Public Accounts Committee today/yesterday, Madam Georgina Opoku Amankwa said the EC may hold the election in December if the process to legalize the election in November delays or fails.
