His father, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah ruled Ghana, his sister, Samia Nkrumah is vying for the CPP’s flagbearership position in an attempt to become president of Ghana and Dr Onzy Nathan Nkrumah who was rejected in a flagbearership contest in the CPP has declared his intention to rule Ghana.
How? According to Dr Onzy Nathan Nkrumah, despite the unfortunate happening that led to him being axed from the Convention People’s Party – he will consider running for the presidency slot in this year’s election.
The son of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah noted on NEAT FM’s morning show Ghana Montie, that – “I want to serve the people of Ghana”- so therefore will contest the 2016 polls as an independent candidate.
Dr Onzy predicted a win for NPP’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in this year’s presidential elections scheduled for November 7 – but has made a U-turn by saying “Nana Addo, President Mahama will not win the 2016 election, I will win.”
He however urge the electorates to choose wisely their next president for their own betterment.
