Demo: Kasoa interchange workers want Brazilians sacked

Over two hundred Ghanaian workers on the Kasoa interchange construction site are demonstrating against the Brazilian construction company Queiroz Galvao, demanding the resignation of two Brazilian managers.

The managers; Miguel and Fernando are being accused of unfairly dismissing some 12 Ghanaian workers.

Speaking to Citi News, the leader of the workers, Justice Boagye Gyimah, said the mangers dismissed their colleagues without any reason.

Mr Gyimah stated that the workers will not return to work until the managers are sacked and the dismissed workers reinstated.

The demonstration has stalled the construction of the Kasoa interchange, which according to the workers, is behind schedule.
