“I am not aware of the parties signing any peace agreement. I know that they were in our office and they have made their statements and have agreed to ceasefire,” the source said.

It was gathered yesterday that Davido and his estranged lover, Sophia Momodu after their  meeting

at the instance of NAPTIP  which was attended by Sophia, the musi cian’s father, Deji Adeleke, Mr. and Mrs. Dele Momodu, Adeleke’s lawyer, counsel to Dele Momodu, Gbolaga Ajayi, Mr. Ajayi Famakinwa, and NAPTIP’s representatives, agreed to stop the ongoing media war.

NAPTIP’s representatives, who took Sophia and Dele Momodu and his wife’s statements, was said to have advised the Adelekes to allow the child’s mother  have access to her child, currently in custody of Davido’s half-sister, Ashley Adeleke. However, it was also gathered  that the warring parties met somewhere in Lekki, Lagos, again yesterday after their previous meetings could not yield any fruitful result due to certain conditions in the agreement.

Recall that the 23-year-old pop singer stormed the Lagos State office of NAPTIP, Wednesday, on the invitation of the agency. His father, Dr. Adeleke was said to have visited the NAPTIP office earlier in the week. So also were Dele Momodu and Sophia. The outcome of the meeting, however, is this call  on the parties to stop the media war.

Davido, last Sunday, rebuffed claims by his estranged lover, Sophia Momodu on the circumstances surrounding the removal of their daughter, Imade, from Sophia’s custody. The singer had alleged that a pathology test was conducted, in which it was determined that his daughter, Imade, was fed with breast milk contaminated with cannabis.

Sophia fought back through her lawyers, when she requested the original copy of the alleged medical report that Davido published during the week from Clina Lancet laboratory.
