Danny Nettey ‘goes home’ today

Final funeral and burial rites for the late gospel musician, Danny Nettey, has been held at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra today (September 3).

His body will later be interred at the Osu Cemetry.

A gospel concert was held last night in his honour with artistes like Nii Okai, KODA, Pastor Hellen Yawson, Bernice Offei and Joe Mettle in attendance.

Danny Nettey died on Friday, July 15 at dawn after being found unconscious by his mother in his room.

Beginning his music career, Danny Nettey started his own group, “Danny Nettey and Pals”. The group preached the gospel in Secondary Schools and ministered in Churches across West Africa.

Danny Nettey has three albums to his credit- “Positive Change”, “This Time” and “I believe”.
