Daniel Owusu Co-author “AFRICA 80” Making History in Africa

Ghanaian youth activist and an evangelist for change Daniel Owusu makes history by being part of 80 young African leaders from 30 African country to co-author a book for the continent.

Daniel Owusu, a Global Spotlight Ambassador at Verb U, a Student Ambassador at Mozilla Corporation, Social Media Strategist at Ringier Ghana Ltd and formerly of Tedx Ghana, attended a 25th Annual World Economic Forum on Africa Summit in Cape Town South Africa about a year ago, and together with other participants, decided to publish a book to unite and strengthen the continent, a book that will be the voice for young leaders, their dreams, their pedestal and their legacy to the continent.

With hard work, perseverance, dedication and nearly a year down the line, the dream is now a reality with ” THE AFRICA 80″ which had its foreword written by Ugandan born and Africa’s youngest billionaire, Ashish Thakkar. The book will not only command attention across the continent but most importantly, promote the spirit of unity and of working together to benefit Africa’s current and future inhabitants.

Daniel took to Instagram to express joy and gratitude for this achievement. He wrote ” We have made History in Africa!! Our forefathers wished for a UNITED AFRICA to aid transnational trade, movement and a formidable front to square up with the Westerners but the dream never materialized. Guess what 80 Global Shapers and future African Leaders from over 30 countries have co- authored a book. He is not the only Ghanaian to be part of this historic feast, 6 others were inclusive, Kow Essuman, a young dynamic lawyer and youth activist, Rosaline Abigail Kyere Nartey, a tourism and hospitality ambassador and enthusiast, Gamerl Sankarl, a prolific speaker and author, John Armah, a youth entrepreneurial ambassador and consultant, Prince Akpah, the President of Africa Youth Awards and Emmanuel Agbeko Gamor a youth leader and innovative designer. They were the Ghanaians to part of the history makers and Ghana is really proud of them.

he book is yet to be launched in Cape Town, South Africa before a subsequent release for sale.
