Control your insatiable LIBIDO for stealing John Mahama’s legacies* *T3* is JOHN MAHAMA’S

Dear Akufo-Addo

Sir, how are you doing? I believe you are doing well.

I also believe that you are genuinely working to correct the damage you are causing to Ghana. Ghanaians are despondent, importers are choking with the killer import duties at the ports…

Sir, I will like to move straight to the point. it’s about this habit of yours that you refuse to give due credit for things done by others and you turning around to clandestinely take credit for them.

This thing started like joke, when you shamefully plagiarized quotes from at least 4 different Presidents in your inaugural address. In fact, you were even louder than those you plagiarized.

After your heavily plagiarized speech, Ghanaians thought that was going to be the end of you appropriating to yourself things that do not belong to you.

A few months after that you hosted in your office, officials from Air France when their first Accra-Paris flight came to KIA and I was sad watching you wax lyrically about how your policies were the main reasons why they (Air France) decided to add the Accra route to their routes. I felt sad that you would lie with such bravado in front of those French guys when everyone know that it was your predecessor John Mahama, who brokered that deal when he went to France on an official visit.

A few weeks after the Air France thing, you did another one again and this one was on the Early Power Project, a project that was cocked and served by the John Mahama led government. In fact, your party even kicked against the loan for the project when it was brought to parliament for approval. But you went to cut sod for the project to start and over there too you claimed that it was your idea.

You have been caught taking credit for so many John Mahama projects, a man you vilified so much for not doing anything. The lowest point in this shameful enterprise is your ministers going round to commission projects that have already been commissioned. Nana why? Ad3n? Are you guys that bereft of developmental ideas so much that you have to do these?

Sir, I have come across another attempt to steal a John Mahama legacy. Sir, I am begging you not to do this. What am I talking about?

I am talking about the almost completed Kotoka International Airport Terminal 3 also known as T3. On the day you delivered your 2018 SoNA, your deputy Aviation Minister, shamefully on TV attempted to take credit for the project by saying that it was the *DREAM* of John Kufour and you will finish the project to actualize that dream.

I was scandalized, I woke up yesterday (Friday 16th March 2018) to read an article on myjoyonline curled from the Business and Financial Times talking about the almost completed T3.

In the said article, the author sought to share the glory between you and John Mahama. He/she said that John Mahama must be commended for initiating the project and you for completing it.

Sir, sincerely, deep down your heart, you know you don’t deserve any scintilla of credit, its not as though you could have stopped the project, because it was practically impossible.

That project as you see it is not just the T3, its a generational vision of John Mahama looking far beyond the next 20 years where he sought to position Ghana as the aviation hub in the sub region. This dream led to the expansion works on the Kumasi Airport that can now take bigger aircrafts from anywhere in the world at anytime of the day.

The Tamale Airport is being transformed into an international airport so that it can handle some of the pressures from the landlocked countries in the sub region.

The Wa airstrip has been transformed into a regional airport and will soon be used for commercial domestic flights.
Ho has a new mini airport, one that you will soon be commissioning. These are projects birthed out of the vision of John Mahama with the able leadership of then Transport Minister and her Deputy Hon. Dzifa ATTIVOR and Joyce Bawa Mogtari with the able support from the Tony Lithur-led Ghana Airport Board.

I am recalling all these so that when you get the opportunity to commission the T3 and the other ones you will do what Prof Mills of blessed memory did when he invited John Kufour and gave him credit during the commissioning of the N1.

I have to caution you sir, that if you attempt to appropriate for yourself any glory from the T3, we SHALL with all the strength at our disposal resist it.

The massive facelift the Aviation industry has seen is and must remain in the good name of John Dramani Mahama until you design, seek for funding, cut sod, and build one project in the sector.

Kind regards sir,

Dzifa Gunu
Atiavi.
