Christopher Opoku’s wife’s message to late husband on his birthday will break your heart

Christopher Opoku’s wife Vivian has a touching message for her late husband on his birthday which falls on 5 December.

The ace sports journalist passed away in May 2017 after battling with cancer.
His death was a big loss to the sports fraternity due to the impact he made on the airwaves and on TV.
Christopher Opoku left behind three kids and a wife, Vivian.

This is Mrs Opoku’s note to her love, her friend, and her life.
I have your home-made cake ready, Chris,
I have your favorite wine and table set,
Sitting here waiting.
It feels like Chris has gone outside Accra or Ghana to run commentary,
And he’ll be coming back.
I’m waiting, Chris. Will you be coming back?
Can you hear me on your cloud, Chris?
I miss the strength you brought me. And the comfort it gave.
And on your birthday, my love, it’s so hard, pretending to be brave.
But I have found hidden courage. And it helps to see me through.
It quietens me and protects me. And I know it comes from you.
Here on earth we shared a life.
And as happy as it could be, I never took for granted, all you meant to me.
So I shall spend your birthday dreaming that you were here,
Helping me to wipe every silent tear.
As I shed some birthday tears typing, just remember I *love* *you* *and* *forever* *will*.
You, Chris, are IRREPLACEABLE.

GOD HAS YOU IN HIS KEEPING. I HAVE YOU IN MY HEART.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN CHRISTOPHER NANA OPOKU.
PLEASE COME BACK PLEASE.
