CHRAJ Condemns Ken Ofori Atta for Lack of Transparency in bond saga

Your authoritative ghanapoliticsonline has intercepted the CHRAJ Investigative Report on the controversial bond saga which continues to threaten the macroeconomic sustainability of Ghana.

The contents are revealing and damning considering the role played by Ghana’s Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta as they relate to:
1. Bond Issuance calendar not followed
2. Significant potential for conflict for the minister
3. Apparent unfair advantage to bookrunners/primary dealers from their dual roles
4. More transparency needed and requiring that guidelines for bonds issuance are published in the gazette Amon others.

The CHRAJ decision suggests that section 56 of the financial management act was grossly breached so clearly by inference the issuance was illegal.

Ghanapoliticsonline online will publish the full report soon……
