Chief Of Aboabo Roots For NDC

Chief of Aboabo-Park in the Birim South District, Nana Jankiti and some of his people says they are rooting for the National Democratic’s (NDC) parliamentary candidate elect Hon. Robert Ansah, as according to him, the current NPP MP has not been able to bring any development to the area.

The chief is accusing Hon. Osei Kennedy, the MP of the area for failing to fulfill his campaign promises he made to them when he was seeking their votes to represent them in Parliament.

According to him, the incumbent MP promised to provide them with a classroom block and construct roads in the constituency, however he is yet to fulfill his promise. http://ghanapoliticsonline.com

Nana Jankari speaking to Nyankonton Mu Nsem’s Prince Collins Benning said what annoyed him the most was some items the MP presented to them which included 10 pairs of wellington boots, bags of salt, and cutlasses all because the upcoming elections.

The chief described the items as insulting and demeaning especially when the constituency lacks access to a classroom block, access to good roads among other challenges.

Some residents who also spoke to our reporter, affirmed what the chief said adding that, the incumbent MP is disrespectful and arrogant and had described them as illiterates hence he should not come to the constituency to seek for their votes or he will face their wrath.
