Chief Justice “grateful for support” as she spends last day in office

Praise and thanksgiving Service has been held in Accra in honour of Chief Justice, Georgina Wood, as she leaves office tomorrow, Thursday, June 6, 2017.

Mrs. Georgina Theodora Wood’s contribution to justice delivery as the Fourth Highest Official in Ghana, is being examined.

She retires from office after 47 years of public service, which includes nine years as Chief Justice.

Delivering a message on behalf of the Chief Justice, Judicial Service Secretary, Justice Alex Poku-Acheampong, expressed gratitude to all Judges and staff of the Judicial Service for their support.

When Mrs. Georgina Wood clears her desk on her birthday tomorrow, she will be replaced by Justice Sophia Akuffo.
