The Central Regional NDC 2016 Elections Campaign Task Force under the leadership of Hon Cassiel Ato Forson was duly inaugurated by His Excellency the Vice President yesterday, ably assisted by two members of the National Campaign Team-Hon Faustina Nelson and Hon Kofi Adams.
The Agona West Constituency Campaign was also duly launched and the Constituency Campaign team led by Chairman Samuel Mpotah was inaugurated.
The atmosphere was fantastic, attendance splendid and the messages from Hon Kuntu Blankson, Hon Ekow Panyin, Comrade Simon Peter Gyekye, Comrade Eric Offei (Mugai), Comrade Mubarak Watara, Comrade Eric Dadson, Comrade Lawrencia Chelsea and Madam Ekuwa Swanzy before the arrival of the Veep were positively electrifying.
His Excellency the Vice President ably flanked by the Regional Chairman -Ben Allotey Jacobs, Hon Nana Brew Butler, Hon Mrs Sati Ocran, Hon Kweku Rickett -Hagan, Hon Kobby Acheampong ,Hon Samuel Oppong, Hon Lawyer Charles Obeng Inkoom and many others paid courtesy calls on Swedruman Council of Chiefs at the Swedruhene’s Palace, Nyakrom Traditional Council and it was wonderful.
The Veep and his entourage again proceeded to the Swedru main market and the main lorry station to interact with Traders, Passengers, Drivers etc. Chai, It was a great sight to behold when His Excellency Amissah -Arthur inspected Swedru town roads and other completed and ongoing projects.
All this while, the stadium was charged with various performances and speeches whiles party members from the nearby towns also took over every major road in Swedru with a wonderful procession before moving to the Stadium.

Horace Ankrah, Comrade Kwesi Dawood, Hon Aquinas Tawiah Quansah, Chairman Ben Allotey Jacobs, Hon Lawyer Charles Obeng Inkoom, Hon Kweku Rickett -Hagan, Hon Ama Benyiwa Doe, Hon Cassiel Ato Forson, Hon Faustina Nelson, Hon Solomon Yaw Nkansah, Hon Kofi Adams and His Excellency Amissah -Arthur prosecuted the JM Toaso and the 57/20 Agenda perfectly with their practical speeches.
It was a great day yesterday and we thank all who contributed in diverse ways to make it happen. This is just the beginning. From Victory unto Victory, the NDC shall lead a stable democracy.
