Car gift saga: I lied just to spite Nduom – Akua Donkor
The founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, has said she lied of the two Pajero vehicles and a house allegedly given her by Mahama, because she wanted to spite the Progressive People’s Party flagbearer, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom.
“I acquired those properties on my own, but I have intentionally credited Mahama for purchasing them for me because of what Nduom did to me sometime ago. When Nduom took his Tundra Vehicle from, he categorically told me I should go to Mahama to give me vehicles. That is why I’m doing this, she told Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM Monday.

Reports are rife that Akua Donkor has received two cars and a three bedroom house located at Sakumono from President Mahama.
Akua Donkor claimed she was given two Mitsubishi Pajeros by the President after Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom took his Tundra vehicle from her and a decent house also built for her by the President.
But the lady politician Monday made a u-turn on such claims on Kasapa 102.5 FM denying ever receiving those properties from Mahama.
This is after, the NPP’s Communications Director, Nana Akomea called for a serious probe into the allegations by the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice(CHRAJ).
“When Dr. Afari Gyan asked to me to buy those things before he gives me a certificate for the GFP’s operations where were they? I insists that it’s a way of honouring Mahama,” Akua Donkor said.
