Campaign against polio launched in Accra

The campaign is aimed at using Radio as a tool to reach areas of low coverage of immunisation in the country.

Speaking at the launch in Accra as part of the World Polio Day celebration, the Chairperson for the Ghana National Polio Committee, Theresa Osei Tutu, said the country is less than 1% away from becoming a polio-free country.

She added that the campaign will help add the less than 1% needed to make Ghana free from Polio.
