Cabinet approves board for cashew sector

Cabinet has approved a Cashew Development Board that will assist cashew farmers particularly in the Brong Ahafo region to support the sector to grow.

Few weeks ago, Chiefs from the Brong Ahafo region called on the President John Dramani Mahama at Flagstaff House and placed the request at his feet.

The Chiefs asserted that the commodity has the potential to compete with other traditional cash crop if given the needed push.
