Boxers ready to fight at first boxing arena in Ghana

The first boxing arena in Ghana is set to be commissioned on November 15th by President John Mahama and ETC Polska & Trust Sports Emporium in collaboration with Box Office Promotions have come out with a mouth-watering match ups.

The showdown will be headlined by Benjamin Lamptey and Sheriff Quaye duel – the duo will battle for the vacant national lightweight belt.
Ahead of the bout, a weigh-in took place at the Bukom Square in Accra on Monday, as the main event fighters and the undercard boxers weighed for Tuesday’s clash.

Quaye weighed 132Ibs while Benjamin Lamptey came in at 133Ibs.
For the Bantamweight contest Prince Octopus Dzanie weighed 123Ibs as against Daniel Quartey”s 121Ibs. In the lightweight battle Felix Ajom tipped the scales at 134Ibs while Victor Roy Ankrah weighed 135Ibs.

In another lightweight battles, Felix Williams weighed 134Ibs while Enoch Lamptey came in at 136Ibs, Success Tetteh and Emmanuel Otoo both weighed 131Ibs.
