Bob Okala finally goes home this weekend

Final funeral rites of the late veteran comedian, Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng popularly known as Bob Okala will be held at the Arts Center in Accra from 9th to 12th of June 2016.

According to the family, the funeral will be held in Accra but his mortal remains will be flown to his hometown in the Ashanti Region on the 11th of June for burial.

The veteran comedian died last month after collapsing while performing on stage in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua.

Okala, who had scaled back on public appearances due to health issues, nonetheless agreed to perform at the programme organized by Joy Industries at Koforidua Jackson Park.

He died on Sunday, March 12, after he collapsed on stage. He was rushed to hospital but died on arrival.
