Blame accidents, murders on disobedience – Owusu Bempah

General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah is blaming Christians in the country for the incessant murders and accidents in the country.

According to him, God told him that the impending disaster could be reversed through intensive prayers by Christians ignored it and rather chastised him for delivering the prophecy.

The renowned prophet on 31st watch night service at his church caused a stir in the country when he claimed that the many tragedies will befall Ghana.

He prophesied about the death of many politicians, religious leaders, accidents and murders ahead of the November poll.

But he was subjected to vitriolic attacks by many including men of God branding him a false prophet.

However, the prophecies seem to be manifesting with many murders and accidents being recorded in just two months.

The latest is the gory accident at Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region leading to the death of 71 people and several others injured.

Also, eight people have been murdered in cold blood in two separate incidents by mentally unstable men in the Central and Ashanti regions.

The incidents have shocked residents in the areas who are demanding justice and increased protection from such mentally ill persons.

But Rev. Owusu Bempah in an interview on Adom FM Evening News Friday said: “we should blame ourselves for the tragedies”.

He said the unfortunate incidents could have been prevented if Christians had not criticized him and rather prayed to prevent it from happening.

The prophet explained that it is because a blood thirty evil spirit has entered the country to cause havoc thus only prayers by Christians could drive it away.

Rev. Owusu Bempah said the deaths, accidents and murders would be worse if nothing to done to avert it.

The prophet, who claimed to have started prayers, charged Christians in the country to commence intensive prayers in order to avert the imminent disaster.
