Black Stars management cash will be paid – Nyantakyi

Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed the Black Stars Management Committee’s outstanding honorarium for recent 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Mozambique will soon be settled by the Sports Ministry.

Reports in the media were that Sports Minister, Nii Lantey Vanderpuije, had refused to pay the honorarium of seven management members of the Black Stars but went ahead to pay all outstanding winning bonuses to the players.

But Nyantakyi explains the delay of the payment of the honorarium is just temporarily.

“I don’t think there is an abolishment of that policy. We have sort explanations from the Ministry and we have been told that at the time of payment there was not enough money, so management will be paid later,” he told Starr Sports.

Meanwhile, Nii Lantey Vanderpuije is on the verge of clearing all outstanding bonuses owed all national federations.
