Bishop BoneGas Gets Citation From Surprise Award For Excellence Organizers

Pastor Bishop Daniel Kwame Kissi popularly known as Bishop BoneGas, received a special citation from GOA, organizers of Surprise Award for Excellence, ahead of the main launch of the 2016 edition of the award.

The communication Director Charity Bartels of GOA, Mr who presented the citation to the popular pastor at his church stated that before they award individuals under the year of review, they present citations to the selected nominees based on merit.

“As part of kick starting this year’s Surprise Awards, as we always do, we agreed on giving pastor Daniel Kwame Kissi aka BoneGas the first citation” he said. Explaining why the citation was given to Bishop BoneGas, he said they (organizers) did so in recognition of the Bishop’s selfless commitment to the betterment of life of his congregation and society at large.
He added, “For his faithfulness and outstanding service in the lord, transforming lives with his ministry and bringing joy to the hearts of many — especially the underprivileged, making them become a part and parcel of the developmental agenda of the nation.

“As a main contributor to most of the orphanages annually, he has through his benevolence contributed and transformed the lives of many especially women and children — from building a state of the art wash room for the Akropong School for the blind and a main contributor to the Village of Hope at Awutu in the Central region.”

“He has sponsored and still sponsors countless children to access education and helps them acquire scholarships especially for brilliant but needy children.” Organizers of the award strongly believes that it is such acts of benevolence coupled with a strong idea that when excellence is recognized, encouraged and awarded, then the values of transparency, accountability and integrity becomes part and parcel of the practice for development.

Surprise Awards for Excellence is an award scheme that seeks to recognize and appreciate efforts and reward them duly.
