BAWUMIA’S BOY SELLS NPP CAMPAIGN BIKES?

As the opposition New Patriotic Party continues to wallow in penury and squalor, weeks of painstaking investigations has dug up several documents detailing how the party was allegedly pilfered mercilessly in the 10 regions by officers of the party and persons said to be close to national officers of the party.

The National Pen can report authoritatively that one of such alleged corrupt practices saw the Northern Regional Youth Organizer of the party, Alhaji Abdul Rashid COP becoming the worst enemy of the Northern Regional Chairman of the party, Daniel Bugri Naabu for allegedly selling motor bikes otherwise meant for the 2016 campaign in a deal believed to be very fraudulent.

The National Pen has gathered that the youth leader of the Northern Region section of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Abdul Rashid COP is also alleged to have embezzled monies meant to be donated at the Regional Secretary’s late father’s funeral.

The former Deputy Governor of Bank of Ghana and now three times Running Mate to the flag bearer, Dr. Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia is reported to have sent the amount of GHS 2,000.00 through the personal accounts of the Youth Organizer our investigations revealed.
Addressing party men, Bugri Naabu of the NPP national campaign team alleged that the NPP running mate was using the Regional Youth Organizer, Alhaji Abdul Rashid COP to destabilize the efforts of the party in the region ahead of the presidential and parliamentary election slated for December 7. “Dr. Bawumia is at the root of the leadership tussle confronting the party in the region,” he reportedly added
Sources say, at a meeting in Dr. Bawumia’s house located behind Tamale SNNIT FLATS, at Fuo residential area, Mr. Naabu is said to have accused Dr. Bawumia of being a political gladiator who is scheming to pick NPP’s 2020 presidential ticket, and has thus lined behind the youth organizer and pulling the strings with him.
Ahead of his speculated attempts to outshine his boss, Vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Bawumia is believed to be giving moral and financial support to the Alhaji Abdul Rashid COP to spearhead party activities in the region.

There are allegations that the youth organizer received 31 motorbikes on behalf of the regional party from a businessman in Accra (name withheld) and sold quite a number of them without the knowledge of other regional executives.

As if that was not enough, Alhaji COP has also been accused of spending money meant to support one of the suspects who were arrested together with Yahuza &Co and said to be in a critical health condition.

But Alhaji COP responding to the charges at last week’s meeting is said to have noted that he spent all the funds received from Dr. Alhaji Bawumia and proceeds from the sale of the motorbikes with Daniel Bugri Naabu to the dismay of the gathering. He is also said to have stated that he was surprised that the Regional Chairman (Bugri Naabu) was acting like a Saint.
Infuriated by the startling revelation, Bugri Naabu is reported to have asked for Qur’an to purge himself from the allegation.
