Thursday,  May 19 2016

The Royal Chief Palace in Sandema yesterday, was characterized by an uproarious event minutes after Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia appeared in the palace.

After news got to the people the arrival of Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, spontaneously, some youth groups massed up at the Sandema palace jeering at Dr Bawumia for his clandestine endorsement of the illegal coupe d’etat against their royal son,  Chairman Paul Afoko.  A buzzing sound from the crowd was questioning Dr Bawumia the whereabouts of NPP’s National Chairman Paul Afoko.

Moments later, the Chief of Sandema came to the rescue of Dr Bawumia. The Chief helped calm down the masses who were inundating Dr Mahamadu Bawumia with questions surrounding the dismissal of Paul Afoko by his boss, Nana Akufo-Addo. However, the parliamentary candidate for Builsa North, Alonsi , who was once a District Chief executive for that area was part of the entourage that went with Dr Bawumia to the Sandema Chief’s palace; Alonsi who was described by the masses as ill-mannered and insolent was disgraced openly and banned never to step foot in the palace, by the chief of Sandema . The Sandema chief admitted as having suffered the impudent and cheeky attitude of Alonsi in the recent past.
