Bawumia Became NPP Running Mate In 2008 For Awarding Re-DeNomination Contract To Akufo-Addo’s Brother – Koku Anyidoho

Dr. Bawumia bought his position as running mate to Akuffo-Addo in 2008 by awarding the re-denomination of Ghana’s currency to Bumpty Akuffo-Addo, younger brother of the NPP Flagbearer.

This revelation was made by NDC Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho. According to Koku Anyidoho, Bawumia, when he was Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, awarded the huge re-denomination contract to Bumpty Akuffo-Addo; out of which huge money was made to execute the 2008 election.

“If Bawumia has the audacity to say President Mahama is dissipating the resources of the nation, he should tell us how much it cost the nation to do the re-denomination. Bawumia and Akuffo-Addo made a lot of money out of the re-denomination, and he must account to the good people of Ghana” Koku said .

“If Bawumia says I am lying, he should come and take me on” Koku added. According to Koku, Bawumia has a lot of questions to answer as far as the re-denomination exercise is concerned. According to the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, “Bawumia was made running mate to Akuffo-Addo because of the huge contract Bumpty got. Bawumia is a liar and a nation wrecker and am daring him to a one-on-debate”
