Bank of Ghana to Settle DKM Microfinance Depositors

The Governor of the Central Bank of Ghana, Dr. Abdul Nashiru Issahaku says forensic audit is still underway to effectively liquidate the assets of the defunct DKM Microfinance Company.

He said the Bank of Ghana as regulator will ensure that the assets are able to offset depositors funds.

He indicated that Price waterhouse Coopers has been contracted to establish the true assets of DKM and the real identity of depositors so that payments can be made.

He was speaking at the Monetary Policy Committee media briefing in Accra.
