Baba I. Musah picks nomination forms for NDC regional contest

A former President of Tertiary Education Institutions Network of NDC of the University for Development Studies Nyankpala campus and a long standing member of the NDC Communication team in the Northern Region Baba I. Musah popularly known as Baba Musah UDS has picked his nomination forms to vie for the position of Deputy Communication Officer of the party in the northern region.

The opposition National Democratic Congress on Monday 16 July 2018 opened nominations across the country to enable prospective aspirants contest for the various positions at the regional level of the party.

The party recently held its constituency conferences in over 235 constituencies across the country on the 23rd June 2018 with few outstanding constituencies left to go.

The veteran communicator and a social media guru believes that he has a lot to offer his party in the northern region and beyond in both mainstream media landscape and social media.

Mr Baba I. Musah is admired by many young and old people in the NDC for his unflinching support, dedication and commitment to the course of his party in the last 15 years.

In a brief interview with him after he picked his nomination forms on Tuesday, Mr Baba I. Musah said he is optimistic that, the good people of NDC in the northern region will reward unflinching loyalty, competence, experience, commitment and selfless service on August 25, 2018 barring any unforeseen change in the date set for the regional conference.

The NDC per its constitution is expected to elect its flagbearer 24 months to the 2020 general elections.

It’s therefore estimated that by November, the NDC should have finished its national executives elections leading to the flagbearership contest.

The ruling NPP has already finished electing its national officers to steer the affairs of the party for the next 4 years.
