Ayawaso By-election: Two people shot at Bawaleshie polling station

Reliable information reaching us indicates that two people have been shot at one of the polling station centres of Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, where elections are held today to select a new Member of Parliament.

According to an eyewitness, Police who were dispatched to maintain order at the polling station were seen questioning a bystander for taking pictures of them for which reason he was later freed.

According to him, immediately the person was left to go, a different person run past the police for which reasons the police followed him to ascertain what was going on but later heard gunshots.Popular Stories?

Upon reaching where the gunshots were taken, he saw two people, one shot in the leg and the other in the shoulder.

As to what led to these new development, the eye witness could not say.
