Asamoah Gyan makes history

Asamoah Gyan has surpassed Osei Kofi and Andre Ayew to emerge as Ghana’s greatest scorer in the Africa Cup of nations (AFCON).
Gyan’s19th minute goal against Mali on Saturday has taken his AFCON goal tally to eight.
The 31 year-old striker in 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil scored his 6th goal in the Mundial to become Africa’s all-time topscorer in the World Cup, beating legendary Roger Milla’s feat and has now reached another height.

Asamoah Gyan, who is Ghana’s all-time topscorer is now a goal away from scoring his 50th goal for the four times champions of Africa.
