Going far beyond the call of duty and doing more than the expectations of your Constituents, is what excellence and true representation is all about.
But this is conspicuous in the leadership of Dr Sagri Banbangi, Hon Member of Parliament for Walewale Constituency and Deputy Minister of Agriculture in charge of Crops, as he has always sort refuge in his annual issuance of Pen and mathematical sets to BECE Candidates, which some Students and their Parents view as insult and treat with a pinch of salt.
It is insulting and completely annoying that, in a very competitive Democratic Republic where many Members of Parliament have prioritised quality education of their Constituents, by rolling out well thought out social initiatives that will help shape their basics and accordingly push them in a confidence and hopeful ‘BECE BATTLE’, He Dr Sagri lazily and in a very shameful manner, annually appears with his usual pen and mathematical set, and then returns to his usual slumber.
The question is, when will these BECE Students within the Walewale Constituency catch up with their peers under the able leadership of Hon Alhassan Suhuyini? When will they catch up with their peers under the able leadership of Hon Ablakwa and many other brilliant and Distinguished Members of Parliament who have prioritised the needs of their Constituents above self motives and personal aggrandizement?
Mr Minister and Hon MP, please note that, if the past administration headed by His Excellency JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA and Hon ABDULLAH ABUBAKARI was so clueless and selfish, you wouldn’t have had that GES office Complex to have done that shameful distribution.
Is about time the Leaders and Elders of the Walewale Constituency called on “Dr 1 Cedi” as he is affectionately call for his under performance and his lack of vision for the good people of Walewale Constituency, to take the education of their wards serious or else, danger looms for us all.
I have seen Members of Parliament take their Constituents for granted, but that of Dr Sagri is annoying and irritating because, he doubled as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture in charge of crops.
For the sake of the future of these innocent Young Basic Students, I want to state with emphasis that, this is the end of your term in Parliament, Hon MP and Deputy Minister of Agric in charge of Crops, Dr Sagri Banbangi.
The good people of Walewale Constituency gave you an honor, and it is only proper that, you reciprocate such honor, by giving the Constituency visionary leadership.
An advice, a caution and a reminder to a Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Member of Parliament for Walewale Constituency, who has lost direction and focus.
Walewale Constituency is too big to be taken for granted.
